Traveling with Dogs
There are differences between traveling with a pet, with an Emotional Service Animal (ESA), or with a Service Dog

Service Dogs
Service dogs are trained to aid someone with a disability by performing a proactive task. Because of their actions as a medical device, they have rights of accessibility.
You must be able to answer the following 2 questions:

(1) is the animal a service dog?
(2) what task is he trained to perform?
Service Dogs can travel domestically for free under ADA. Forms will need to be completed and submitted to the airline prior to departure.

International travel will require health certificates, and ADA laws are not applicable.
